Welcome to the City of Brampton Bid Opportunities Website
NOTICE
The Corporation of the City of Brampton has been in active negotiations with CUPE Local 831 to reach a new contract for City of Brampton members. CUPE Local 831 will be in a legal strike position as of 12:01 am on Thursday, November 7. As a result, some services are operating at normal levels, while others are reduced until further notice.
Starting today, picket lines may be present at City locations. We advise everyone to approach picket lines calmly and courteously. You should expect to encounter delays, and if you do and are asked to respect the picket line, you may politely explain that you are attending the facility to provide services. Please avoid confrontation and report any issues immediately to Security Services at 905.874.2111.
We appreciate your patience and understanding. We will keep you informed of any significant changes and updates.
If you have any questions, please contact purchasing@brampton.ca.

In an effort to modernize the City’s procurement process, Purchasing has adopted the use of digital signatures through DocuSign. This change may result in bidders who are awarded contracts, to sign documents digitally.
This change takes effect on Monday, May 2nd, 2022 for purchasing contracts valued up to $1M. Contract signing requirements will be provided to bidders at time the contract is awarded.
Electronic Receipt of Construction Liens

CORTM program in 2024
In continuing to build a future-ready organization, Brampton has adopted the Certificate of Recognition (CORTM) program as part of its construction contract management and construction tendering process. This is a reaffirmation of the City’s ongoing commitment to health and safety for contractors, employees and residents.
Phase 1 of the requirement to be CORTM certified was implemented in January 2019 for construction projects over $25M.
Phase 2 of the requirement to be CORTM certified was implemented in January 2020 for construction projects over $10M.
Phase 3 of the requirement to be CORTM certified was implemented in January 2021 for construction and maintenance projects over $5M.
In January 2024, the requirement for CORTM will not be increased, but remain at the current contract value threshold of $5M for construction projects.
